China continues on its quest to export goods at the cheapest price....including lead-painted toys, poisoned pet foods, poisoned people foods, and who knows what else.

In response to our govt. rejecting small amounts of food here or there, and warnings about anti-freeze in Chinese toothpaste, China is braying on, calling their goods safe and our standards as unreasonable.

Our govt. seems to be in constant fear of offending Chinese sensibilities. And China knows how to play them like a fiddle, with Americans paying the price, now and in the future.

THe "free market" mantra trumps all. If, in the future we are thrust into a war with China, there may be exemptions given to American business interests, so that they can continue trading with the enemy.

The Free Market has somehow replaced our traditions and values as the cure-all for any problem in the world. If only everyone's standard of living is raised, through the unhindered exchange of goods for cash, the politics will follow...or so goes the line.

Hitler didn't have any problem utilizing the free market to rally his people behind him in a war which devastated Europe. China is still a hard lined communist nation despite its realization that unrestricted buying and selling is a path to power. Even the threat to China's iron grip on its people from the exchange of ideas on the internet is being diminished by their govt. in partnership with American companies like Google and Microsoft.

It's all about money these days. And China is a "huge untapped market".

Russia, the former head to the body known as the Soviet Union, continues to regress under Putin's pro-active move BACK, towards regaining the power, if not all former territories, it had in the bad days of it's Iron-fisted control. Russia's been conducting a 'cyber-war' on Estonia, attacking computers used to run its government. Since government Cyber-Attacks on another government are not considered a form of warfare by the U.N., they have the perfect excuse to do what it's doing, which is zilch.

Putin and his merry band have been killing off their critics lately, and putting a stranglehold on their media outlets. They've even been attacking their own internet, by shutting down or otherwise restricting the free flow of ideas and opinion. But Russia can't survive this way long without going after all those surrounding states, formerly under the dictatorship of a few old men living out their last days as communist masters of all they touched.

Putin is believed to be setting up one heck of a golden parachute for himself and his friends as he consolidates his grip on power, for now and in his "retirement". Financial corruption goes hand in hand with power like this, and Russia, as the Soviet Union, was known to be as corrupt as they come, with those at the top of the system getting those choice goods, homes, cars, and services.  Much more's at stake now. Billions, stolen from some of Russia's newest rich, are being divvied up. Russian media, a potential roadblock to the ongoing thievery, must be squelched.

Democrat initiated defeat in Iraq continues to slog along. They're bragging to everyone that they DO have a plan for Iraq.  The plan fails to include any considerations for what will happen in Iraq if they're ultimately successful in portraying the United states as crying uncle {and turning our backs once more on promises made to Iraqis.}

The sole aim of the plan is to acheive a political win against Pres. Bush.  Harry Reid has admitted as much on several occasions.

When the American people wake up to this Democrat treachery, Dems will whine like stuck pigs if anyone attempts to give them the credit. But Democrats already deserve much of the credit for renewed perceptions among the fascist Islamists that we're weak, ready for the slaughter. 

Hillary Clinton, a weak candidate with no experience other than a few years in the American House Of Lords, and her years of conspiring with Bill, has already called for a forced reduction of troop strength, with 75,000 troops left in Iraq to fight al Qaeda. This "fighting al-Qaeda" will not work as Hillary's declared she will not allow U.S. troops to enter any "civil strife" in Iraq. al-Qaeda, Iran, and Syria are largely responsible for the daily slaughter of civilians and U.S. troops,  but since the media generally makes no distinction whatsoever between "secular civil actions", and the imported mass killings of civilians, Hillary will not either. 

IF Hillary wins the presidency, look for our servicemen to be holed up in U.N. styled camps, resented more so by Iraqis for hiding. We will also look like complete cowards to the Islamic world, bolstering their confidence. Perhaps Hillary has ideas for handing over Iraq to Iran. All her statements allow for such a scenario.

One may argue decisions made by Bush in Iraq, but Bush is doing what he believes is necessary to defend us here, and our interests abroad. Another Clinton reign would be a another governance-by-personal-need.

To date the majority of Americans know the Clintons, their deceiving ways, their need for power. A Hillary Presidency would be about servicing their desires first, Bill and Hill getting in our faces with their sanctimonious moral superiority, and instituting the leftist agenda Hillary's dreamed about since she was a minor in school.

Al, as an individual, may have done more harm than anyone to keep urban African-americans in despair. If/when there's no despair, no hopelessness, there's no need for Al.

The '60s' has always been a special time for so many of the blowhards who grew up during the time. While many matured into recognizing what the world is, others held onto their humanist-religious beliefs, their pomposity, and their revisions of history. Somehow the war of Lyndon Johnson and Jack Kennedy became Nixon's war. Somehow the assasinations of King, Kennedy, and Kennedy became the mother of all conspiracies, connected through being "signs of the times". No, it didn't make any more sense back then, unless one had been enlightened through mind altering poisons.

Hillary and friends sniffed at the accomplishments of their parent's generation, ridiculing their sacrifices. For them and their new found wisdom {having technically become adults just several years before}, the world then was nothing more than something to be rejected, thrown in the trash bin. So they did. The "50s" became synonymous with boredom, white bread, conformity, racism, 2-parent families, homemaking mothers, etc. Spolied kids reaping the benefits of the sacrifices made in the 40s rejected anything having to do with their parent's generation.

They set out to create a stricter conformity. This conformity, as thoroughly documented in Hillary's case, demands that we all adhere to some politically correct set of rules. These rules are not based in our traditions, history, Consitution, or Bill Of Rights.  They're derived from the endless think tanking of  self-anointed intellectuals who believe they're best suited to micro manage our lives.

In some ways they turned into their parents, chasing the almighty evil dollar. Some did that and continued to hold onto the anti-Americanism that gave meaning to their lives. Some took all that into government. At least one of them now seeks to rule over us, from the pop-doctrines of the 60s. She's no less unpleasant than she was back then. She's no less determined to have her way with us.

A sizable number of Americans have been trained, and are more than ready to be taken care of by the Federal government. They have no real problem with exchanging self determination for the guidance-through-rules of really smart guys and gals who know better.

Democrats have a difficult time articulating their true beliefs and positions because they are so contrary to the thinking of average Americans. This is one reason they choose endless investigations over honesty of what their goals are, what they intend to inflict upon citizens, the ones who will pay the price for their schemes.

Democrats are looking to control and impose content on public airwaves, set us up paying into a world-wide redistribution scheme under the mask of global warming, surrender our sovereign interests to 'world opinion' {consisting largely of the many totalitarian regimes that now hold sway in the U.N.}, and ruining the careers of as many Republicans as they can get ahold of.

Mainstream Media has jumped in on all fours this time around. They're not even bothering to hide their partisanship this time around. Perhaps it's just to darn important. Saving us from ourselves, and Republicans, has long been their primary purpose in life, more so than facts. Most news stories these days read like Op-Eds. Op Eds tend to read like blogs. Blogs read like the rantings of the lunatics of the defend-bill-at-any-cost from the late nineties.

While all this is going on, average Americans go on with earning livings and raising families. Democrats are foolish if they believe these busy folks will not notice.

So did she. According to her, she and Pres. Bush are on the same page here. Makes one question what it is she's reading these days. It's likely just fan mail from the nuts who keep sticking her in office. Only a Pelosi-voter, or paid talking head could ever think what she did was in America's best interests.

We don't think she's so stupid as to pay Ahmadinejihad  the subservience.  We figure she just  spit out off-the-cuff  statements regarding a possible visit in order to keep her profile up another few days.

Mrs. John Edwards, elitist snob, is now criticizing her lowly Republican leaning neighbor. It seems as though Monty Johnson protects himself when necessary with a gun. When Edward's representatives trespassed on his land to "investigate" best how they might traverse his property to get to their's, he showed up with a gun.

Now Mrs. John Edwards is in a hissy fit over that, and the fact that Monty is solidly middle class, unable to throw together a competing mansion, something prettier for Mrs. Edwards to gaze at than his current humble abode.

Monty's family has owned his property going back 90 some years, purchased by his family before the great depression. The Edwards have owned theirs at least since John Edwards legally extorted millions through civil lawsuits.

Democrats don't generally respect property rights, unless it's their property.
Maybe Edwards should push for eminent domain against the lowly Monty!
Maybe if he wins the Presidency, his wife will request an executive order to boot the guy out, national security and all that.

John is trying to keep himself pure, unfazed, unquestioned by those who might try to pin his beliefs down to a decipherable mess.  His soaring  speeches are known for being on another plane, foreign to the  constricts of human understanding and common sense. He's trying to win us like he does when he's asking a jury to award 15 million for wrongful acts. But he's asking us to sue ourselves, in effect, through his bold vision of ever escalating tax increases. would you trust this man with another 10% of your net?

Nancy Pelosi, vacationing through the middle east, has claimed that her trip has helped Pres. Bush by showing that we're all united against terrorism. Of course this is simply not true. Nancy's long held up her view that "we' need to view radical Islamist fascism as nothing more than a problem that needs "solving", NOT an actual war.

Pelosi&friends believe these things can be worked out if only Bush would talk with, negotiate with, and engage our enemies.
According to her, he should be inviting Iran, Syria, and others to get involved in dictating to Iraqis what type of toltarianism they live under.  This, unlike some Democrat positions, is not just a typical anything-Republican-must-be-opposed stance, but a true representation of Democrat's view of the world and our rightful place in it. Democrats favor the guidance of U.N. bureaucrats over U.S. soveriegnty. This is in part due to their long held belief that WE a can be found as the major root cause of every evil in the world.

Bring up pollution, starvation, mass murder, internal strife in you-name-the-place, Arab/Israeli conflict, poor people, uneducated people, sick people, etc. and Democrats are there with a ready answer: It's OUR fault, for doing the wrong thing, not doing the right thing, not doing enough, doing to much, consuming to much, producing to much, allowing "big business" to have its way, etc. etc.

Democrats believe in the OneWorld fantasy, more than they believe in our own system of governance, more than our traditions, freedoms, and families. In fact, some Democrats seem to reject the very essence of what it means to be American. It's not that outrageous to make claims of anti-Americanism on the part of some of them when that is exactly what their views betray.

Nancy is a far left activist. If Speaker Of The House was an elected position voted on by all Americans, no way would she ever have gotten the job. But thanks to senority rules and the fact she best represents Democrat philosophies, she's got the platform.

Democrats are doing their best right now to differentiate themselves from Republicans. Sticking Homosexuals in the military, giving in to World Demands that we get taxed because of our carbon dioxide emmisions, and restricting the ways we defend ouselves in a dangerous world are just several bedrock Democrat goals they're pushing. These are fundamental beliefs.

 Republicans are being handed an opportunity, right on the heels of the Democrat win last November. Democrats, misinterpreting election results, are treating this as a mandate by voters for every liberal and leftist idea to come down for on high going back 15-20 years. Republicans are not assured of anything however, and at the rate it's going, they could just as easily lose not only the Presidency in 08, but more Congressional seats.

If Republicans believe what they preach, they need to sharpen the differences between them and Dems. If they fear how their words are portrayed in the media, perhaps it's time for more retirements. It may very well get worse before it gets better. Hillary as President is well past being a joke in the 90s, but is a real and present danger.

If it's true that the Democrat course is dangerous, Republicans might be accused of shirking their responsibility by ignoring the threat. They might be accused of waiting for constant polling updates, in order to translate citizen's knee-jerk thoughts into "leadership".
Given the true service and sacrifice on display in Iraq by the best among us, it doesn't seem to much to ask Republicans to STAND UP, threats to their careers be dammed, and say what's right.

One way or the other he and his band of Democrat pranksters are determined to institute defeat in Iraq. The trick is to force defeat on our military and American civilians while blaming it on Bush. This will be one huge trick if they pull it off. And those who are paying attention will always know it was Democrats, again, who chose surrender over victory.

This was ALWAYS about insuring that a Republican President failed in the war. Mainstream Media, which is always examining the navels, motivations, and  goals of Republicans, shine on when it comes to examining the wholly partisan efforts on the part of Dems, who've done nothing but seek to demonize all things conservative.

Democrats would never have taken power in Nov. 06 if they'd run on the many things they now seek to force on average Americans. Americans still want to succeed in Iraq. Mainstream Media is doing its best to insure that Democrats never need answer for anything, including officiating our defeat in Iraq.

But the danger ahead does not stop with them weakening our place in the world. Many of them believe we should be reaching out to those who've killed us, plan to kill us, and the supporters of those killers.

Politicians have it so dang easy. They never have to answer for anything, or so it seems. Dems can mouth off left and right, take bribes, leave the scene of accidents while drunk, and nothing, that's NOTHING, happens to them of any significance. They can accept campaign contributions from an agency of the Chinese Communist Military, steal and destroy classified documents, and MM skips right over this stuff to the real meat: a Bush aid with a faulty memory. No use whining about it. MM 'journalists', editors, and covert agents are not going to change their partisan motivations. Nothing left to do but continue to point out the HYPOCRISY of so many Liberals, Leftists, and Crooks-in-office.

Democrat Speakeress of the house, Nancy Pelosi, is headed for Syria.

Nancy, who's goals in the region conicide perfectly with Syria's, is expected to make noise. Democrats have long sided with the Islamic view of the States. WE are the problem in that area.
Syrian cooperation on Iraq is assured as long as we give them free reign to do as they will with Iraq. Perhaps Nancy's ideas include reinstating a Baathist regime in Iraq. Why not? She and others have already screamed that Iraqis were better off under Saddam's brutal grip.

Pelosi is suffering from delusions of grandeur. She imagines herself to be a President of sorts, setting international policy. Her hobby-o-the-rich is a dangerous playground, with futher damage to our security likely.
Our politicians are so easy to work and manipulate these days, by world interests who seek to diminish us in every possible way. Democrats, on the same page, are happy to help.

One good thing to come out of this will be more infighting among high-profile Dems, like Hillary for example. Cats always crave all the attention. These cats are no different.

An article in THE HILL, by Elana Schor, masquerading as news, sets the "facts" in fine traditional mainstream media op ed format.

The "news", is that Sen. James Inhofe, of Oklahoma, refuses to allow AlGore to use the Capitol grounds for one of his money-making ventures: A Live Earth Concert.

Concert backers of course present the proposed event as something to make us aware of impending doom, unless we changed our ways and buy into AlGore's pop-science theories, already proven fradgulant on many levels.

The money comes in to play as AlGore is "invested" in scam operations, which are set up to redeem the leftist-rich from feeling guilt over their use of private jets, fleets of limos, and mansions the size of small shopping centers. Many also have multiple homes, mansions, vacation homes, whatever. The bottom line is that their very existence on "mother" earth  results in polution outputs of a small city.  AlGore and others have found a way around change on a personal level, by throwing a few bucks here or there into Carbon Credits, carbon offsets, polution credits, meaningless pieces of paper which purport to document one's carbon neutrality. AlGore's cut himself in on the action.

AlGore is also wanting to use the event to further his own personal partisan ambitions, which is running for the Presidency again. Democrats on the Hill want this political event as well, for the same reasons. More and more Americans get their 'news', not from the big 3 networks via their evening headlines service, or even op-ed articles like Elana Schor's.  They get it from such in depth presentations like Rock The Vote, YOUTUBE, cartoon shows, and celebrities spouting off one liners. This proposed concert on government grounds pomises to be one humdinger of a news program, chock full of hate for Republicans, ridicule for all opposing SCIENTIFIC views, and spolied rock stars spouting their overall ignorance.

Sen. Inhofe called it as he sees it, as many see it, as many many scientists see it. Global Warming itself is not even a proven phenomenom, much less man having created it. But the facts will not slow down AlGore, or op-edists like Elana Schor, who continue to couch ALL reporting on Global Warming as a set of forgone conclusions.

The Congressional audience was divided between those still seeking to use Global Warming hype as a political tool, and the rest who know it's never been proven, at all.

AlGore was praised by Democrats, being called everything from a prophet to a really good guy.

Latest suicide bombings in Iraq provide opportunity for journalists to push more anti-involvement in Iraq front and center.

Those who oppose our efforts in Iraq go to great lengths to feign claims of caring for and about everday Iraqis.
The fact is they care nothing for them. The current conflicts in Iraq are a series of struggles between various factions with guns and bombs vying for absolute control. Average Iraqis only want to live in a civilized peaceful society. In order to acheive this, they need our help. We did after all remove their dictator from power, along with his network of goons. We committed ourselves to Iraq the moment we entered with military force. As nice as it might be to run away, our job is now to help Iraq get through this phase.

The cut and run Democrats and Republicans created the present situation.    "We the people" do follow where lead, and Democrats have been leading us into defeat in Iraq for years now. Some Republicans have joined the call to "file bankruptcy" in Iraq. Democrats would rather spend the cash on the slew of vote-buying schemes they put on hold years ago.

The current mess in Democrat-attempted legislated-defeat proves the even Dems are not so stupid as to simply walk away. But just what were they all thinking last year when they preached defeat over and over? They were thinking "no problem", "we don't need to actually follow through on defeat, only use it to get elected, then rely on our abilities to obfuscate the issue afterwards". Funny thing happened, those who put them in power didn't back off. As one young Black community leader said : This is now the Democrat's war.

Democrat's are in a quandry what to do. Even HillaryTM is now parsing, reparsing, and slicing her Iraq views into ever smaller and smaller thots.

Democrat's bought this war. It IS now THEIR war. If they continue to drag their feet, thereby using our troops as pawns, while they try to come up with a strategery most beneficial to their failed political careers, they risk suffering another run of American Republican Presidents, not to mention losing Congress, again.

It's no secret he's had a thing for the Bush family going back years.  He also favors isolating Israel in the face of threats from Radical Islamists. Pat in not one who believes in confronting a threat, but in evading it. According to him, we sided with the wrong tyrant in World War 2, Pat favoring Hitler over Stalin. His expertise in international relations now include referring to Iraq as Mesopotamia, just like Al Qaeda does. Because Pat believes in gestures over substance. He believes in coddling our enemies, while dealing forcefully with the all-powerful Jewish Cabal which wields undue influence.

Pat might as well be a Democrat now. He trots our the identical "Bush lied, people died" baloney Dems favor. But, the reality is Pat's gone to great lengths to cut out a niche for himself in American politics, and now he's there, all by himself.  He's an oddity. And he earned it.

He said "Jesus would be appalled". We at the BCB tried to parse every which way and figure out why he used the term "would be apalled". WE came up with these:
He would be apalled, if he was still alive.
He would be apalled ,if he had the ability to look down on us.
He would be appalled, if he existed.

John Edwards has had his testy moments with right wing religious conservatives. Then there were those special precious moments when a couple of his close advisors, gals with inside knowledge of what the yoots of today are thinking, tried to cast Christians into the same pit as satan.

John knows he'll need support from more than unions, civil trial litigants, Avatars in Second LIfe, and the minority of voters in his own state who voted for him and AlGore in 04. But his current effort to reach out to Christians could backfire as they fail to recognise any connection between John's conceptions of Jesus, and their own.

The Ann Coulter flap, which occured when Ann used the word faggott in conjunction with John Edwards, brought John some much needed attention to his campaign of obscurity, much as his Jesus-comments have. Barak and Hillary are getting all the attention. It's as though the media have already assumed a guy who can't even carry his own state, has no chance. The Ann Coulter flap also gave John the opportunity to place himself and a few striking janitors among the oppressed.

As for Ann Coulter....HOW COULD SHE???  Actually, Ann is one of the very few on the Right side who gives Democrats back, better than they gave. Her words often hurt so, because they cut so, because they're usually based in harsh truths.

Contrary to the hand-wringing that must  be present when the average politician is discussing "terrorists", Ann calls them as they are, and what we should do to them. No politician is safe when she zeros in on the claptrap of Modern Politics....in that 21st century.

The Battle Of The Civil Rights Titans took place in symbolic Selma, Alabama.

Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama, both vying to be our country's next Black President {Bill being the first}, duked it out through snide comments and noble posturing. Of course "snide" is a subjective thing, but still....they made little digs at each other, from age to who was the rightful heir to becoming  symbolic head over the poverty industry.

Self-appointed Black leaders, the ones in charge of Blacks, the ones who generally give the marching orders, backed up Hillary's act as a regular old southern girl whos' heart is gold.. She cast off her normal harsh dictatorial speaking style, in exchange for some Northerner's satirical idea of how the hicks in the south talk like.

If it all appeared a bit forced and calulated, it was only because Hillary, out of necessity, calculated that she better force herself to put on an act as Barak is starting to run away with the so-called Black vote.

Barak is extremely popular with: Students, African-Americans, Democrat-Americans, Prominent-Democrat-Americans, and Actors.
There are also are number of Republicans who fear what another Clinton White House would do to the country. These Republicans are making themselves heard, remarking on Obama, his intelligence, his freshness. This freshness means different things to different folks, but one thing it says to conservatives is: Here's an African-American who's not using his race and white guilt as a means to an end. So far so good. One can excuse his occasional pandering to the Black community. After all, ALL politicians of both sides who ultimately win elections pander to a slew of special interests. And the pandering's not usually done on occasion, but with the same regularity as breathing.

Would Hillary ever concede to picking a running mate who could potentially suck up all the media's obsession?
  Will she damage Barak between now and convention time to such an extent that he's a negative for her? Even now we can be sure she has folks working fulltime on digging up the dirt. Then there's the 'Bill" factor. Would BILL ever concede to an Obama Vice President, which would surely knock him down to third place at best? But much depends on Hillary's place in the polls. No way is she going to lose, if she has anything to say about it.

IF an Obama/clinton ticket came to be, the pressure on Republicans to run something other than a 2-white-man ticket would be overpowering. This gives us the opportunity to once again bring up one of our favorites, Condoleeza Rice. Few in DC can touch her accomplishments, her integrity, her loyalty to what's good for this country. Just a thought, at this point in time.

Democrat hopeful Barak Obama continues to pick up  support from the Black community, not to be confused with self-appointed leaders of the Black community.

One recent poll had Barak up over Hillary by 14 points.

Barak's run differs wildly from previous runs by
Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, which were largely vanity
affairs and political statements. Blacks at the time, realizing those guys didn't have an intern's chance in a Bill Clinton White House, cast their support for the conventional white Democrat. Barak is different, gathering substantial support from white Democrats, meaning he has a decent chance at capturing the nomination.

The next Hillary scandal to reveal itself may turn out to be information revealed that Hillary has instigated contracted and directed a vast left wing conspiracy to demonize Obama. This is nothing but guesswork on our part, but thought likely as that is what the Clintons are known for when the cow chips are down.

We expect this trend to continue as Barak picks up more endorsements from prominent Democrats, and Blacks realize they do have a legitimate shot at placing one of their own in the Presidency,
rather than a "second" WHITE- Black-facsimile, Bill being the first.

It's likely Hillary's helpers are keeping their heads down these days, avoiding eye contact with her as much as possible. No point in presenting such easy targets for her righteous rage.

We've theorized there are many prominent Democrats who breathed a sign of relief when Geffen became the first to publicly reject Hillary's offer of a third Clinton Presidency.
Surely the defection by Greg Craig will quicken the thinking of  more Democrats who've had quite enough of Hillary's brilliance and Bill's love.

Al's usage has increased by 20% over a year ago. This is a bargain considering Al has increased Global Warming awareness by 1,000%. It takes electricity to sound the alarm, and a person can't concentrate on life's issues if they're cold.
Considering AlGore's home is now the very epicenter of saving mother earth, he should feel free to burn up all the energy he needs. We can all do our part, cutting back, allowing Al to use some of our Polution Credits.

We remember Republicans going goo goo gah gah over Arnold several years ago when the thought of a Star in the wings who could win the Presidency sent them into delirium. They were ready to change the Constitution on the spot, allowing Arnold clear passage.
Since then he's returned to his Democrat roots, and firmly positioned himself in the ever-changing mushy middle.
He's just as likely to attempt succesion as ever winning the Presidency.
He may run for the Senate.
He may run for mayor of L.A.
He will continue to tell us that conservatives need to stop being conservative.

Jimmy Carter and Madam Albright, made a joint appearance yesterday. The focus was praise, for each other. Albright, who was on Carter's National Security team during his adminstration-known mainly for the Iranian Hostage Crisis and inflation, praised Carter, and Jimmy, still reeling from his anti-Israel beliefs, was in due turn praised by Albright. Then they turned to praising themselves.

Since the opportunity arose, they also jointly condemmed the U.S. for having the nerve to defend itself.

Albright did state one truth when she said:

This concept that love conquers all on the world stage started in the sixties, when drug-induced euphorias revealed a new way to rebellious youth looking for a new way, ANY way different from the way of their parents. Their parent's generation had survived World War Two. But these kids became enlightened, hip to how the world REALLY works, and how it SHOULD work. It was the true ME Generation, masquerading as an US generation. They had no stomach for war, preferring drugs, music, sexlove, and pomposity.

There is much more to this. Leftists have long believed that the United States IS the primary evil in the world. Pick a troubled point in time and you'll find an argument from the left which describes us as the causation.

Bill Clinton had embarked on a NEW WAY during his years in office, rushing around to one international photo-op after another. The good will from his efforts was reflected in the faces of the international political celebrities, who all had dung-eatin grins in the picts. It was a love-in. Here they all were, getting a strange respect from each other that none of them received back home.
It's true Pres. Bush does not break a smile as easily as Bill. Perhaps it has something to do with the inconvenient war with Radical Islam. Photo-ops with celebrity politicians don't do anything to actually protect U.S. citizens.

Much of the world is ready NOW to make the peace with Radical Islam, if only the U.S. would follow, then lead.
Carter and Albright are just itching to be the go betweens.

There seems to be nothing honorable in the halls of Congress these days. William Jefferson continues to serve with pride...or gall. Murtha, an unindicted
co-conspirator in ABSCAM, is now the moral benchmark in Iraq discussions. Pres. Bush is accused of intentionally lying in order to start a war, so that political hacks can cover their own tracks and previous boistrous breyings SUPPORTING the war.

Democrats are laying the groundwork for a return of the Clinton White House, where all this stuff will be solidified. Voters forget the transition in 2001, from Bill Clinton to Geroge W Bush. We did breath a collective sigh of relief as Pres. Bush brought back honor, humility, honesty, and accomplished adults back to that office.

The Clintons, who turned the White House into a political cash cow, brought with them all the best minds they knew. But this alone does not account for the sub standard quality. One theory goes that Bill and Hillary, never wanting to be outshined, intentionally put into place folks who could act as decoys. It could be argued that it worked quite well, given that the tip of the iceberg is all that the media ever really focused on, and that was only because they couldn't ignore a story about sex between consenting adults.

Most professional Democrats long for another Clinton administration, where Bill's acclaimed talent for schmoozing the public can provide the cover they all need. Between now and then, they risk awakening the public to their naked ambitions.

Democrat efforts to transform war with radical Islam into a years-long series of court proceedings was hit today by a Federal appeals court ruling. U.S. civilian courts have no business telling our military whether they're holding the GitMo prisoners wrongly. The Islamist terrorists held there have no right to force their way into our courts. This is a rare moment when common sense happened to collide with legal ajudication.

Some Dems also couldn't wait to rush to the mikes to claim they intend to change the law, a law Pres. Bush pushed through Congress as needed to comply with a previous Supreme Court ruling on the issue. Voters in Nov. 2006 are now scratching their heads, wondering how it is Dems misinterpreted those election results.

This setback coincided with a new poll that shows the majority of Americans want to WIN in Iraq, placing nearly all Dems and some Republicans at odds with average citizens.

The problem with Democrats riding the wave of malcontentment with the progress in Iraq is that they didn't bother coming up with a nuanced position, but instead used it to go for the jugular of the Bush Administration.
The majority of Americans have never favored the  Democrat ideas on fighting terror, which have generally been to address the presumed rights of the assassins first, then slug it out in U.S.  courts.
This has long been the Democratic view and M.O., from Bill Clinton's administration up through present day.

This war is unlike others we've fought. But these prisoners of war are still POWs.
   Regardless of attempts by Pelosi and others to change this from a war to a "problem that simply needs solving", Americans know a war when they see one.

All this power's gone to the minds of Democrats, who after all, lost unfairly NOT for the first time in 2000 or 2004, but in 1994, when the Gingrich rebellion robbed them of their rightfull inheritance.

Everyone knows that Republicans represent rich corrupt power brokers bent on stealing every last dollar, while Democrats are the party of peace, equality in all things, and the very definition of public servants: a voice for all the disaffected, duly divided along appropriate lines of race, gender, ethnicity, income, age, sexual activities, employment, hobbies, favorite colors, political demands, favorite foods, apparel or lack thereof, ipod favs, and a host of sub catagories, sub-sub catagories and so on.

Now that Democrats have won one election, they're pressing ahead with 17 years worth of pent-up society-building cravings. Now that they're in power, the media will give the proper and correct weight to their views, on politics, on food, on the very meaning of life.

Democrats never REALLY ran out of ideas. Thoughts, desires, and demands have always been lingering just below the facade of sour grapes.
The current situation in Iraq handed them an undeserved moment of power. The Democratic base, the real base, those seen on TV waving  Bush Kills-signs, are saying to the old tricksters who control the Democrat Party: Earn This!
Earning this could just as easily come in the form of verbal boisterousisms, than any actions taken. And boisterizing's ALWAYS easier {witness al Franken}.
Democrats, in their excitement at gaining control of the sandbox, risk revealing to much. If they have any sense, they'll step back, regroup, and plan a more orderly systematic march into the nanny state.

Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Barak Hussein Obama  declared  the U.S. is ready to elect its first Black President.  He did not mention who he had in mind. 


Barak, who's already been declared an inauthentic Black by the numerous Black leaders in charge of Blacks, is of mixed blood. But this is not the deal killer. His background is. Mr. Barak is rooted in an island-immigrant mindset, with all of its attendant drawbacks, such as hard work, industriousness, emphasis on schooling, and other white-centric cultural dictates. He's clearly been indoctrinated in the ways-o-the-man, that is to say, he's been created by white men for the specific purpose of furthering the goals of white men. This is not a criticism.  He played the cards as they were dealt him in a whitey-controlled society, and he has a bright future, even in the land of the whites.
Barak may yet aquire some Blackness bonafides over the ensuing months of this campaign. Much depends on the Hillary factor. If Hillary continues to be a strong woman, Barak might become Black in order to gain black votes, only to lose the white man racist vote. He would forever more be known as that white guy pretending to be Black, which would surely derail any future attempts to become Genuinly Black. 

However, IF Hillary is blind sided by some Republican-conspired revelations having to do with what she does behind closed doors and in the back seats of limos, Barak may just find that being Black is worth persuing. His Blackness could be obtained, short of public respect having to be paid individually to every single last Black in charge of Blacks. This has the potential benefit of tricking some white racist voters, just long enough for him to win, but would not permanently destroy any future he has in politics as a white OR a Black should he lose this time around.

Hillary Rodham Clinton tells war protesters to take a flyin leap....in so many words. She WILL be against the war AFTER she was FOR it, and if they don't like it, they can choose to vote Republican or not at all!
Hillary knows that once she's extorted the nomination all to herself, that most of these  loud mouth obnoxious  war protestors  will bite the bullet and vote for her, given that the alternative will be a Republican of one kind or another. and hey, at least she's a STRONG woman. The kids here just need to wake up to the political realities governing Presidential elections. The reality is, ain't no new age one worlder with the answers to EVERYTHING ever gonna get elected, selected, or put on any kind of pedestal worshipped by a majority.
The idea is to present some rational level-headed political face now, then institute the politics-of-meaningful-hillary-ideas

Tom Tancredo was caught legally smoking a cigar in Tom's office.   Ellison, who's so far's stuck to his infidel name, made news when he used Thomas Jefferson's copy of the Koran to be sworn in on, rather than the book of infidels. Jefferson obtained the book originally in order to know the enemy. At the time we were being forced to pay extortion to Islamic pirates, Allah be praised.
Ellison is expected to defend Allah and the Koran from any unwarranted bigoted attacks on those out to kill US. No one is to question his loyalties. Naturally he's a patriot. To imply otherwise will be to claim he's a bitter self-serving oppressed minority looking to stick it into America-land-o-the-whites. All are forwarned.

Democrat Dennis Kuncinich proclaims U.S. committed illegal war! This is expected to be seen as a huge moral booster for those serving in an illegal war based on lies, in Iraq. It's unclear at this time if Sen. Kucinich intends on testifying in any future "World Court" lawsuits aimed at the U.S., the President, Republicans and Democrats who voted for our involvement in Iraq, and the baby killers we've sent over there.
Dennis Kucinich has been usefull in drawing clearer lines in the debate between Democrats,  Republicans who've backed away from any comprehensible stand on the issue, and those Republicans and Sen. Lieberman who stand by their decisions to get involved in the first place.
Dennis is beloved by the Democratic base for his courage in articulating the Democrat view. Unfortuntely he comes accross on TV as the host of a Saturday morning cartoon show. Who said life on TV was fair?

See no evil hear no evil. This seems to be a guiding principle of Democrats in foreign policy. But the sound of Chris Dodd implying dishonesty on the part of Pres. Bush and our intelligence services regarding Iranian involvement in Iraq is truely disgusting.

Democrats have been doing their best to portray Bush&Co as liars. Now the rhetoric of the Dems nearly matches that of Iran. It's only natural Democrats are now defending Iranian leadership, doing their best to provide plausible deniability. This should go over well with our military stationed in Iraq. They've known for a long time, right down to the average Private, that Iran was responsible for arms, encouragement, and direction
aimed at them.

Democrats will now try to bully their way past any incovenient truths that stand in the way of the momentum they're been building on. They've placed large bets on our presumed failure in Iraq. The last thing they're going to do now is work WITH this adminstration towards success there.

Enemies of America know by now that the key to winning is through the demoralization of average Americans. Democrats have been pounding away for years now, demoralizing not just our efforts, but our motives for involvement in Iraq. "How it plays on TV" is
just as important to Iran's goals as their continued infiltration into Iraq. Democrats are more than happy to comply. They've smelled blood in the water for some time now.

Parroting Democrats like Chris Dodd ,  Iran has denied  any involvement , and went on to recite the Bush administration's history of lying and maunufacturing evidence.

Democrats beg Pres. Bush to hold back on proof of Iranian's instigation of murderous actions in Iraq. Internationalist John Kerryreally doesn't want to go there. After all, it makes it harder for them to push their we-are-the-world approach to dealing with enemies. Democrats have been blaming every thing on Pres. Bush. Blaming Bush for Iran's hate is not below them. Blaming Bush for 9-11 or Katrina was no better, just less transparent than placing Iran on Bush's shoulders when 2 or 3 headlines a week scream out Ahmadinejihad's threats, oaths, and nazi ramblings.
Releasing proof on Iranian "insurgency" in Iraq now might tend to make Democrats explain just what the heck they're talking about. They're far more accustomed to the freedom of giving lip, free of the need for proof.

North Korea continues talks on ways the world can help prop up its failed regime. China, carrying out its dual roles as

consigliere to, and regional crime syndicate head over N. Korea, has also taken on a third role.

China was key to pacifying N. Korea's  Kim Jong Ill.

The argument goes that N. Korea is in China's backyard....the last thing China wants or needs is some rogue empire waving nuclear weapons around. Well, this is the argument talking heads use. No doubt they use more words in private. So we turn to China to "mediate" the dispute. Since N. Korea has already proven its intention to disregard any deal {see photo}, and intends on continuing to produce nuclear weapons, this current round of talks seems aimed more at saving face for US, and sticking a wealth of unearned commodities into Kim Jong Ill's back pocket, than any meaningfull  solution to the problem.
Our populace can only deal with so many crisis at any given moment, while still retaining the "what do I care"
view afforded those who live in such a rich secure country as the United States. We CAN be rallied against an evil or threat, but only if it doesn't intefere with the generally sedative  benefits of living here.
There's not enough of an appreciation of the effort and sacrifice that went into getting us to this moment. There's a sense that we just are, and will continue to be, that is rampant.

This isn't to argue that we should take pre emptive military action. There's a lot to be said for a country which waits to be attacked before responding. Response is then justified to all but the most extreme. Perhaps we should just anounce an intention to wipe out Kim's regime if/when he launches, or sells the technology to others who launch. Even this would be portrayed as saber rattling, but at least a clear message will have been sent.



We've long thought that 9-11 presented a near hopeless situation, hopeless in that this enemy is bigger than any one country or tyrant. Just how exactly do we fight an enemy consisting of religeous idealogues running terrorist organizations in so many soveriegn countries, in many cases with the covert backing and/or condoning of those countries? Top that off with the millions upon millions throughout the world who are ready to jump on the radical Islamist bandwagon. We believe it was this hopelessness which forced Pres. Bush into a doctrine of pre emptive military action.
After 9-11, Pres. Bush was simply not going to relegate the problem to the courts, as done previously during Clinton's reign. He proclaimed "terrorism" job 1, and has stuck to that since. Would he have done things differently, having the benefit of hindsight? Of course he would have. Does this diminish him?  Unless Hillary, Edwards, Kerry, etc. can be thrown under that same bus, no.
Pres. Bush, love him, hate him, or just put up with him,
but he's done everything in his power to protect us since we were first shocked into reality on Sept. 11, 2001. It seems to us that the real problem with his policy on Islamic radicalism, was in not indentifying it correctly publicly. It is after all not simply terrorism, but widespread radical Islam that we're fighting. It's hard to believe Pres. Bush didn't realize this within hours of the attack.
One can imagine a whole host of reasons it was never correctly identified, not the least of which was the potential inflaming of muslims around the world, pushing them towards the radical cults preaching our destruction. Then there was our friend-through-oil, Saudi Arabia, ironic since it was their sons, radicalized in Saudi-financed institutions,  who carried out the attack. And there are a number of Arab countries, decending in pecking order, who all would have been publicly offended. We have our own minscule, but politically active muslim population, who may not be entirely supportive of the 9-11 attack, but are never the less largely quick to take offense at the slightest implication that the Allah they worship is the same Allah that drives others to murder Americans. Nothing's ever going to be straightforward in this fight. As such we should expect mistakes to be made, just as in conventional wars, which are also generally not as straightfoward as they appear in retrospect.

With N. Korea we face a more conventional foe. We naturally expect talks to take their course. And when they fail we'll start the next level of talks. The talks will go on, untill they fail, or Kim announces his next nuclear achievement, or is couped out of power, or demonstrates his nuclear achievements on Japan, or gives it to some shadowy group. If the right set of circumstances converge, we may even find a window of opportunity to take him out before he incinerates fellow men.

With the pre election pre season of the upcoming Presidential election heating up, Democrats are on a tear. All the excitement to date is happening on the Democrat side, with Republicans struggling to get a bit of face time.
The latest adreniline packed anouncement is from Barak Obama {no relation to inventor of the Bahamabama sausage}.
Barak, though relatively inexperienced, trys harder, whether it's thinking with TWO hands, or trying cloak himself in the memory of Pres. Lincoln. One thing he does have going for him, besides the clean-immigrant-minority factor, is that he's just to dang young to have done as much as the older guys he's running against. One negative is that the word Islam can be attatched to his name, even though it's obscure, and perhaps totally meaningless. Who said politics were fair?

Hillary has a challenge on her hands. Besides having once supported the war before she opposed it, IS now old enough to have done many "things". In addition, she does have a previous White House record to judge her on.
But, she must surely posess positives as well, and isn't that what campaigns are all about? One advantage which accompany's its equal disadvantage, is that the word Bill can be attatched to her name. Who said politics aren't fair?

On the Republican side we have Mayor Giulani {by the way, how many ways are there to spell Guilianni?}. He became America's mayor during his masterfull leadership in the 9-11 aftermath. Rudy has a tough field to plow given his pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage views. this seems likely to eliminate him from consideration by the religeous base.

Sen. John McCain is one real life patriot. A former POW held for years under the brutal conditions imposed by savages, he continues to serve us. But.....some right wing radio broadcasters don't care for him, and his cozy ways with Hillary affect the guts of others. It MIGHT be worth mentioning that he's often parted ways with Pres. Bush on various political matters, but then Pres. Bush's parted ways with rank and file on the illegal immigration issues altogether, as well as fiscal conservatives, and increasingly...that Global Warming thing. Now that we think about it, even the rank and file have been parting ways with themselves these days.

Well, that's about it, oops....
There's Gov. Romney, who used to be pro-things who's now anti-things and a Mormon to boot. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but once again the Republican religeous base will not vote for a Mormon in the same numbers as they would a conervative conventional Protestant, or even a moderate conventional Protestant. We don't know what you'd call that in political science terms, we just call it 'one of those things...'

 Sen. John Kerry is unhappy with Pres. Bush, who, once having deceived those dumber than himself, is now  complicating things by sending more troops to Iraq. John Kerry, whos secret connections with mysterious powerfull European leaders failed him during the 2004 elections {he lost}, decided that for the good of the country he must remain in the U.S. Senate, where his educated demeanor could be put to better use than on the Presidential campaign trail, where he would just be needlessly attacked by those who know him.

New Orleans is struggling with survival. Regardless of the best efforts Mayor Nagin

and Gov. Blanco    are capable of mustering, half of the former population may be lost to higher elevations.
Currently suffering from high increases in homicides, crime in general, landmarks made from trash, and piles of unused cash for rebuilding efforts, New Orleans is teetering on the edge.

Ms. Blanco has to date distributed 33.8 million bucks for rebuilding, out of a 7.5 BILLION buck fund set up for rebuilding.  Blanco's Road Home Program  hopes to do better, but keep in mind this is Blanco's legacy here.  How much good would it do her to quickly and efficiently pass out the cash, just to have constituents ask her a year down the road "what have you done for me lately?" There may even be alternative plans in place, preferable plans, to change the character of New Orleans. Mayor Nagin's proclaimed desires aside, perhaps a hollow chocolate city, or a chocolate covered nut city is being planned.
Anyway, money is power. As long as Gov. Blanco's got it, she's got it.

Palestinian Hamas and Fatah have achieved PEACE. Hamas has agreed to respecting previous agreements with Israel. How this all translates out....such as potential reductions in homicidal attacks on Jewish targets, how many Israeli soldiers it plans on kidnapping, lessening the number of hours a day that are spent on teaching palestinian kiddies they must grow up into young hopeless males wearing suicide belts, and other mitigations, remains unclear. But at least this is the first step, prior to the taking of other steps of one kind or another.

Democrat U.S. Rep.Nancy Pelosi,   Speakeress of the House, millionare extrodinare, is demanding her own passenger jet. The need comes at a time when her entourage has ballooned. She being the first Speakeress ever, demands other historical firsts. This airliner will fill the bill, or result in the bill. It's been requested that the jet contain master bedroom, stateroom, 42 business class style seats, and would require a crew of 14. This may sound like an exorbatant expenditure of taxpayer cash for what amounts to a perk, but Rep. Pelosi plans on putting the plane to good use, raising taxes, formulating additional regulations on business, and figuring out new ways to sabotage public support for our efforts in Iraq. The thinking goes that all these things and more can be done from the air just as well as on the ground. We understand. It's bad enough someone like Pelosi feels compelled to sacrifice so much of her free time for the good of the country. The least we can do is insure she lives as well in public life as she does in private.

UPDATE: Democrat U.S. Rep. Murtha implies revenge if Speakeress Pelosi is made to feel embarrassment through public discussions about something so private as a taxpayer-funded airliner to cart Pelosi&Friends around.
Mr. Murtha, man of big ideas, apparently feels the same hands-off approach taken by most of the media to embarrassing questions over his less-than-stellar performance on FBI ABSCAM tapes, should be offered to Rep. Pelosi. Murtha's probably correct. If HE can skate, so to should Pelosi.

We here at BCB bet many voters didn't realize that in Nov. 2006 they were actually voting on whether to sign onto Kyoto extortion demands, whether to start following the lead of  the bureaucrats and enviro-business-interests of forgeign lands, Waxman hearings on all the wrong done by rich Republicans, handing an airliner to Pelosi for her convenience, enabling of Democrat LA. Rep. William Jefferson to continue working in the shadows, a minimum of 2 years worth of preaching to US about the need to sacrifice for the good of Democrat aspirations. We also voted on whether to take our fight with radical islamists seriously, or whether that fight was just something cooked up by Republicans as a way to divert attention away from their desire to turn mother earth into a toxic landfill.

Democrats have long held to a higher moral standard, or rather to a set of uniquely American.....I mean to their own imaginations, visions, and quest for power, perks, wealth and connections. The voters spoke. It's doubtfull many of them realized the stakes.

The "Attack Of The Light Displays" on the city of Boston perpetrated by Turner Broadcasting's Cartoon Network, threw that city into turmoil. The Mooninite displays were meant to draw attention to "Aqua Teen Hunger Force", another 3rd rate cartoon for  druggies. Someone, at some point, obviously decided they presented a possible danger. One can see the humour in this as well as fully understand why authorities became alarmed, having no idea what they were. The 2 kids who were arrested, an asperating artist and nonconformist clone, Peter Buttovsky, and his sidebutt, either mocked the media or simply hadn't fully worked out their routine, when confronted with a news conderence upon release from jail. They lapsed into a rountine on hair styles, which even MAD TV would have rejected. It's easy for those having no responsibility for our security to scoff at Boston's reaction, But those gufawing now would likely be the first to whine and acuse authorities if these Mooninite displays had turned out to be rudimentary circuit boards packed with C4 . It wasn't that long ago we witnessed a guy trying to light the fuse on his shoe, attempting to take a plane down. Oh wait, THAT was laughed at and ridiculed as well. Well maybe the next time Mooninite displays are positioned, they will be rudimentary cicuit boards packed with C4.

Stuart Smalley aka Al Franken, has made it official. He's going to run for the U.S. Senate from Minnesota. Franken, most recently of Air America's failure, takes a long time to get "there". Perhaps the sooner Hugo transforms Venzuela into a socialist banana republic, the better. He'll be the example to others in the region. Even the poor will turn on him once the truth sinks in, although that realization may be left to upcoming generations of Venezuelans born into the black police state  Hugo's constructing.
