In the meantime....while the EU concerns itself with cow-farting retstraints, More and more scientists, previously on board the man-made Global Warming train, are stepping forward to debunk this fav theory of bureaucrats, politicians, and other scientists on the GW gravy train. Just one of the constant themes in this tale is the corruption of science: i.e. a disregard for actual facts which tend to disprove or at least greatly undercut the GW hypothisis.  GW is big business now, fully entrenched in governments, academia, and all leftist movements world-wide. While AlGore, the current "star" of this show, continues to make millions on what is in effect a monsterous lie {and set himself up as savior}, real harm is being done to us, but more importantly, future generations who will be expected to squander untold billions on this charade. Countries like China {soon to be the largest emitter of carbon dioxide among other "pollutants"}, exempt from paying any price, will continue to spew, while others....like the rich-we-can-afford-it USA, will be paying through the nose through actual cash payments to U.N. authorities and a contraction of productivity as we sacrifice "our fair share". These proposed schemes come and go, with one continuous underlying theme:  America has unfairly exploited the world and its resources, and it's time we pay for our sins. ------------------------------------------------------ EU seeks to ban Cows from farting. As "we all know"....production of livestock for the flesh-eaters  also produces more emissions than the world's poisonous transportation systems. These cows, and pigs are included, care nothing about us or our ultimate survival. EU wants to capture the cow/pig farts before they surpass the emissions levels of the world's politicians. ------------------------------- Mars warming up at an alarming rate. But it's due to natural phenomena, unlike mother earth which is warming up as a result of Humans living, existing, functioning. At least that's the spin in a Breitbart article, again posing as news when it should in an op-ed. In the article it acknowledges, towards the bottom, that there are a few natural contributing factors, like VOLCANOS, which have long been believed to be THAT MAJOR SOURCE of carbon dioxide emissions. Mainstream Media runs in a herd. Once a belief or word or phrase is accepted by a few, it's pounced on with all deliberate speed by the many. Recently we've witnessed the New York Times referring to Iraq as Mesopotamia. Now others are doing the same. But it was al Qaeda that started interjecting it into pop discussions-o-the-world. With all its proclaimed search for the truth, MM is probably the least motivated to do the searching. We believe it's a mix of lazyness and political biases. And we're correct in our assessment, because we said it. ---------------------------------- In a move that could start a crack in the EU unity-o-pupose in structuring our very existence around fighting Global Warming, a recomendation has come forth, restricting speeds on Germany's famed Autobahn. This is sure to draw howls, hoots, and nationalistic screams as German citizens rethink their duty in the Global Warming scheme. His excellency, the HIGH EU Environment Commissioner Stravos Dimas thinks Germany be to the odd man out in an otherwise sane world which has speed limits. And really now, it's just not fair. ------------------------------------------- After years of competing views on the various theories of global warming, the New York Times chooses NOW to produce a high-profile op-ed/article pointing out the disputing opinions. Up to now, man-made Global Warming and its disastrous consequences for the future have been beatin into our skulls as scientific fact. Those who cared to do even a pedestrian search of the facts and opposing views found plenty of reason to suspect the entire concept. The NYT acticle takes its special swipe at AlGore, his movie, his book, his declarations. Since the NYT generally does everything from its own political persuation these days, we here at the BCB thought long and hard about the motive for THIS op-Ed at THIS particular time. After 30 seconds it hit: the NYT is simply doing its part to take AlGore down a notch or two as a preemptive favor to Hillary Clinton. Secondly, the NYT realizes that as the media chooses to give notice to the many scientific voices of anti-global warming, voices which have been around for years, they risk being left behind, with their biases bare-nakid. ------------------------------------------------- Britain has long favored the "New World Order". The reasons for such an ORDER don't seem to matter as much as getting that dang ORDER. This time Global Warming is the reason being given for the need. Gordon Brown , reputedly Britain's next Prime Minister, is calling for an ORDER as a way to fight that nasty man-made GW. --------------------------------- "NEW" Theories dispute on man-made global warming. In sharp contrast to declarations from all the atmospheric experts...from alGore to John McCain, Joe Lieberman to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, U.N. Bodies to Carbon Offset-Businesses, more and more scientists are stepping forward with other thoughts and facts.  As they feel it's safe for their careers, to dispute the theoretical constructs conceived by conflicted interests who are tryin to ram man-made GW down our collective throats, scientists are gaining more courage to preach SCIENCE. AlGore , who's already made a ton of cash from the GW industry, through ticket and DVD sales, book sales, and his ownership in GW businesses which trade in the feel-good Carbon-Offset credits, is likely diversifying as we type. As is often the case in this modern media-centric world, facts will be dammed for some time to come. People generally believe what they want to. Global Warming as a concept is merely one small part of a greater view of life. GW fits hand in hand with other ideas some long for like cutting America down to size, demonizing capitalism, creation of a world taxation, and more national and international control of every day rights and freedoms we in the U.S. sort of take for granted. "The Great Global Warming Swindle" , an inconvenient documentary coming on the heels of AlGore's Oscar win for saving mother earth, reveals disunity in the science community over theories on global warming. It turns out that there is disagreement among scientists on man's ability to manipulate the atmosphere for good or bad. so, is man-induced global warming a hoax? ----------------------------- More proof America is the guilty party, from India, from an op-ed, which condemns us, as they should, for we are guilty. With India's help, we should cease all U.S. companies from using poor-English-speaking Indian phone peoples, who help you with your printer problems. Hansen . Evidently Pat is bothered by the need of the GW community to stretch the truth, evaluate facts differently, or lie on occasion. Global Warming is REAL! <The head of the panel, Indian climatologist Rajendra Pachauri, called it a "very impressive document that goes several steps beyond previous research.>  So, Rajendra calls his own work IMPRESSIVE! Her recent op-ed, speaking of science, states: "The certainty of the human role is now somewhere over 90 percent. Which is about as certain as scientists ever get." That's news to us non scientists, who've been told that science is all about facts. Helen also throws in a Holocaust reference, comparing Arminidejihad's rants to the rest of us who've simply asked the climate mongers to prove it. Her article is basically a recitation of pop-references to Katrina, those new light bulbs, her Prius, melting ice, a Time magazine cover, etc. all thrown into one heap. Even her attempted slam on college educated Republicans turns out revealing college educated Democrats as being bigger DUPES, while indicating that Republicans may be the last bastion of common sense. Whether she really believes what she writes, we can't be certain. But she is being paid for exhorting us into believing Global Warming theories, which must put her into the same catagory as those she slams for getting paid to debunk them. Shame. _______________________ Billionaire Richard Branson    is initiating a new advertising campaign for his Virgin Empire. It's about his offer of a 25 million buck prize to anyone who develops a technology to remove carbon dioxide from mother earth's atmosphere. But we BCB grunts believe it's about garneing millions in free advertising, based on an offer that may never be paid. Mr. Branson didn't mention if he was looking for a SAFE technology, just a technology. But intentionally removing carbon dioxide from our ecosystem sounds a bit like an evil plot in an Austin Powers flick, not a sound scientific endevour. The sight of scientists parading around with pop-theories in their hip pockets is one thing. Surrendering our future to their theories is something else, something that comes with great costs to society, and which cannot be proven as being even slightly beneficial, except for those who might benefit from expenditures that wind up in their pockets. UPDATE: In light of his prize adverts,  Mr. Branson's being questioned on a couple of his pollutrion spewing businesses, planes and space ships. This gives him the opportunity to mention other businesses of his, like cell phones. Since Sir Rick started sticking Virgin on ballooons and other contraptions, he found the formula for cross promotion. Governor Ted Kulongoski, doing his part to garner publicity while controlling scientific debate on the theories of Global Warming, is transforming the position of State Climatologist into a position to be filled by some political hack he appoints. It seems that the current State Climatologist, George Taylor, has refused to tow the GW line. He's in the unique catagory of the thousands of scientists who do not buy into GW scare mongering. The bottom line is that Oregonian politicians have already latched onto GW politics as an easy ride to power and perks, just like many GW boosters throughout the world. Whole industries have sprung up around the questionable science.      Scientists, in an attempt to find meaning in their lives, have staked their reps on GW theories. It wouldn't do to have it revealed that scientists are just like everyone else. They make mistakes. Some, likely many, waste their lives in pursuit of dreams and ideas only to fail. Read up on the history of science and you'll find these words; "It was long thought.....". It remains to be seen how long we have to listen to this current round of thinking. We barely got through the scientifally proven  Global Cooling of the 70s. _____________________________________________________ New Congressional poll proves near unanimous gullibility on part of Democrats. Perhaps it's the desire to believe, as that allows and emboldens  them to get in our faces with more laws, more taxes, more regulations, more restrictions. Cambodia was just one of many which faced unusual low temps this year. Samuelson as he attempts to describe the hot air and superficiality of others discussing that Global Warming thing. Sammy's taken the easy road here, one which assumes his readers have already bought into computer "models" and guesswork loosely based on science but heavily steeped in politics. Sammy seems to long for immediate controls on our personal use of energy. I would like to propose he set the example by staying away from word processors. The Kyoto treaty, long known as a wealth redistribution scheme, has already been rejected by us. The treaty allows countries like China to poison the atmosphere with abandon. The fact is Kyoto proponents couldn't care less about our contribution to some scientifically-unproven global warming, they want our cash. As the financial house of cards in Europe requires heavy subsidation, a mountain of regulations, and Islamic cash to keep priming the pump, we here in the U.S. remain their fondest hope for keeping their ponzi scheme going. ____________________________________________________ China is exempt from Kyoto. It has something to do with "fairness", a long held Chinese tradition evidently.  Or was that  'a long held tradition  in western quarters used by China to evade  compliance  with  U.N. dictates'? Actually, isn't China virtually exempt from ANYTHING?  We've already exempted them from the expectation  of any rudimentary respect for human rights. How can any of those now decrying our involvement in Iraq simply wash away their previous support of it?  If what they're claiming now is true, they should all resign for deriliction of duty. To have sent 3000 plus American soldiers to their deaths through their prior stupidity or lazyness of thought, then blame it on Pres. Bush should shame them out of existence. These are not statesmen. They are largely a collection of self interested celebrities-of-power. With few exceptions, it appears as though these JOBS, otherwise known as Public Service, are the whole point, the end game. One of them goes on further....trying to redeem himself by proclaiming his "Carbon-Neutral" efforts. "Carbon Neutral" is a thing where rich guys, holy corporations, or edifices...like one of Bill Clintons non-profit orgs, plants trees or otherwise pays off some other "non-profit" in exchange for being able to claim their jet setting, mansion living, fossil fuel burning consumptions are now equal to the level of evironmental good they do. It's really all about obtaining the paperwork necessary to be declared "Carbon Neutral". __________ In America some guys get their legitimate hour of fame, then proceed to milk that for years, even decades to come. Here comes Carl Bernstein again, drawing comparrisons with Nixon and Watergate to Pres. Bush and Iraq { Bush is worse}, and whatever else. Only this time he's not stumbled onto someone willing to reveal secrets. Now he's just doing what he usually does, make public statements comparing Nixon/Watergate to this or that. He's become sort of a journalist John Dean, who's  made a carreer out of "being that one guy, you know...". During Clinton's impeachment he was rolled out by news orgs looking to fill dead air, and he.....he....you got it. He compared Nixon/Watergate to Clinon getting caught lying under oath, lying to all Americans, etc. Nixon was worse. I think he's also written a book of some kind since the early seventies........ ___________________________________________ Barak Obama's been making news lately, and waves among the self-appointed leaders of the GENUINE BLACK COMMUNITY. You see, being black is not primarily about color {according to Al Sharpton and others}, it's a "thing" having to do with accepting ones catagorized victimhood status, and whining and moaning about it. In fact the whining and moaning is far more important than ever doing something about it, such as achieving something. achieving things, pulling oneself up through dogged determination. Taking advantage of the same opportunities imigrants have, tends to show Real Black Community leaders for what they are, irrelevant. There is a growing middle and upper class of Americans who happen to be of African decent. They accomplished this without so much as a helpfull belch from Rev.
